Booking terms & conditions
Quinta Alma is a pedagogical ecological project and an intimate and private land. We reserve the right to accept or not the booking request. Booking requests are not necessarily accepted.
Check-In / Check-Out Policies
Normal check-in from 3PM to 8PM.
Late Check-in from 8PM until midnight has an extra 10 euro fee for each hour late after 8PM.
Breakfast and other meals
A buffet breakfast is always included in the price. Other meals can be prepared by the guest using the outdoor communal kitchen.
Payments and commissions
Payment of 50% of total price as a deposit is due on the following 48 hours after the reservation request to secure the reservation.
The second 50% of the price plus fees and VAT must be paid on check-in.
We accept PayPal, Crypto Currency Ethereum (ETH), or Euro normal bank transfer as payment methods. We also accept cash on check-in.
When proceeding with payments please avoid extra fees or commissions.
Any payment fees or commissions are charged on top of the total price of the reservation.
We do not accept payment fees or commissions to be deducted from the total price of the reservation.
We reserve the right to accept any change request.
Every accepted change will have an extra cost of 100 Euro, due with the request. Any price adjustment coming out of the new reservation rate will be charged on top.
No downgrades are accepted and no refunds are granted.
Only one reservation change is accepted, per booking.
Change requests, to be considered valid, must be submitted no later than 15 days prior to check-in.
Any reservation date change is limited to the availability of rooms.
Prices and extra fees
One time per staying cleaning fee applies to all reservations. Price will be calculated according to the type of accommodation.
Guests with children under 2 years old that need a baby crib, will have an extra charge of 10Euro per night, to be paid on arrival.
Guests under 12 years old are considered children.
Car parking is free.
6% VAT calculated on top of the total price.
All guests must provide their tax information when booking, so that we can issue an invoice with a taxpayer number. We are required to issue the invoice within 5 days. If we have not received the tax information, the invoice will be issued to the final consumer, and it will not be possible to cancel it to request an invoice with taxpayer identification.
Other items of interest
Dogs, cats or other pets are not allowed for safety reasons.
No parties are allowed without explicit authorization from the management.
In case of Force Majeure, Quinta Alma will be free from the obligation of providing the service contracted. This exclusion will take place for the duration of the Force Majeure.In case of Force Majeure, Quinta Alma will be excused from returning any amount paid for the services due. In exchange, Quinta Alma will provide a voucher with the face value of the amount paid, to be used in Quinta Alma after the end of the Force Majeure.
Force Majeure is a common clause in contracts that essentially frees both parties from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties. Examples of but not limited to are war, wildfire, earthquake, strike, riot, crime, epidemic or an event described by the legal term act of God.
We will never share your personal information with any third party but we might be obliged to share your ID with the local or national authorities if such is requested.
We can only use your email to contact you with special offers and promotions of your interest and only about Quinta Alma.
Any dispute or legal resolution will be addressed under the Portuguese law and in a Portuguese court.
